The statement on the back of a van provoke the drivers and passengers to promptly give the obscene gestures (you know what these mean, don't you?) visible from the back by way of the mirror.

Some kept their distance several feet away at the intersection stops as if the van's ass is odious. Some express disdain and outrage that I, the driver and owner of the van, would dare to express my point of view that challenge their perspective. If they don't like reading my soapbox in the form of bumper stickers, they can plug their fingers in ears and sing their favorite pop songs and pretend the world is better and happier with the perpetual "war on terror" and state of denial going on.

Ostriches burying their heads in the sand is the description I label those who express their anger at me the unknown bearded radical driver...
